Take photos on the Sparrow Hills, Patriarshy Bridge and other famous bridges and parks. Visit Victory Park with its World War II monuments. Return to the hotel.

      Meeting the guide at the railway station. A “White-stone Fortress” walking tour. The Kazan Kremlin is the major sight of the city and a UNESCO world heritage site. The Kremlin is the official residence of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan and a state museum-preserve, visited by thousands of tourists every year. Minarets of the magnificent Kul Sharif Mosque rise up into the sky. During this tour you will also see the famous “leaning” tower of Tsarina Suyumbike, one of the symbols of Kazan. Bus sightseeing tour “Legends and Mysteries of the Millennium – old Kazan”. Enjoy the city’s peculiar beauty, the bright colors of its streets and squares, treasures of Khans of Kazan. Here traditions of the West and the East are entwined. During this tour you will visit an Old Tatar Settlement, Lake Kaban, a simulated Tatar village Tugan Avylym (My Native Village), a variety of minarets and domes, crescents and crosses, and many other attractions.
      Chak-Chak Museum. You will feel like a guest in an traditional Tatar family, learn the secrets of preparing chak-chak, and introduced to the utensils that were used in old Tatar houses. “Kazan’s Arbat” pedestrian excursion.

      Bauman Street – is one of the most popular walking streets. During the tour, you will pass by fountains, belfry of the Epiphany Church, where the world-famous Russian opera singer Fyodor Shalyapin was baptized, a monument to Shalyapin, a building of the National Bank, zero milestone, Peter and Paul’s Cathedral. What really attracts crowds of tourists is a replica of a luxury horse carriage used by Catherine II to move around Kazan during her visit in 1767.

It combines features of Catholic, Orthodox, and Buddhist temples, a Mosque, and a Synagogue, although it was designed not as a religious center but as a cultural complex with a museum, a concert hall and an exhibition gallery.
      The Island Town of Sviyazhsk” walking tour. Sviyazhsk is a historical and cultural gem of the Republic of Tatarstan. In the past, the fortress, surrounded by waters of the Volga River, served as a military outpost and a place to prepare troops for an assault against an unassailable fortress of Kazan. Over the time, Sviyazhsk became a spiritual center: the Cathedral of the Joy for All Who Grieve, one of the oldest wooden temples of Russia – the Holy Trinity Church, an operating Assumption Monastery featuring an architectural ensemble of the 16-17 centuries, Stable Yard, workshops.

      Departure to Raifa Monastery.
      The Land of Legends”: tour to Raifa Virgin Monastery located 30 km from Kazan in a sanctuary forest, on a bank of an enchantingly beautiful lake. The monastery was founded in the 17th century.
